A lot of climbing today. We made it up to 7,000 feet, which is the highest point on the trail so far. The morning was cold and damp. We hiked through a cloud for 6 miles. The afternoon was nice and sunny. Not too hot. Then we descended into another cold, damp cloud to end the day.
