Today we took a “Mountain Nero” with our friends Flame and Notorious ERB at Bobby Lake. I slept in until almost 8am. Tim tried to make pancakes, but they turned into more like fritters because we didn’t have a nonstick pan. They were still really tasty though. We went swimming and hung out at our campsite until around 4pm. It was very relaxing to be in the wilderness without worrying about getting miles in. Eventually, we hiked a short distance to another lake, where we found several hiking friends we haven’t seen in a few weeks. There has not been any smoke the last two days, which has been really nice.
