PCT Day 103: Mile 1925.1 to 1950.2

August 13th, 2018

The trail today was very flat. That meant we could walk faster and take longer breaks. We had lunch on the shore of a lake with Sparkles, and a couple of miles later we swam in another lake with Sparkles, Mr. Freeze, Helter, Apache, Parmesan, Dutchess, Quill, and Darko. This section of Oregon has been beautiful. The forest is densely packed with spruce and fir trees, but there are few pines. We aren’t sure exactly what kind of spruce and fir trees we are seeing, but we will look it up next time we have service. Our friend Sage/Sky-blaze/Christian caught up to us at our campsite. It was a great reunion after not seeing him for over 1,000 miles.
