August 14th, 2018
Today we we hiked in the Three Sisters Wilderness. We saw three large volcanoes with snow on them. Some ladies on horses passed us. We have not seen too many horses on the trail so far. We walked through some lava rock fields. We also walked through a field of obsidian with a waterfall. After dinner, Tim made toast with syrup on top for everyone we were camping with. Mr. Freeze had extra bread. Apache had extra fuel. We had extra syrup, which is way too heavy to be carrying around. It was quite a treat.
