We were excited to get to Big Lake Youth Camp to pick up a resupply box today. We found trail-angel Coppertone on the way and hung out for a bit. Then we traversed trecherous lava fields and hot previously-burned areas for several miles. Although it was a short day, it wasn’t easy. At around 5 we got to the Camp and were treated to showers, laundry, real food, and packages. I got new shoes, we both got new gaiters, we received a wonderful care package from my cousins&uncle&aunt, we got a letter from my mom, and we picked up two boxes of food that should feed us until the end of Oregon. Nice.
