Last night we camped on Mount Hood above Timberline Lodge, so this morning we went in to grab coffee and use the flush toilets before hitting the trail. Coffee was free, so we couldn’t resist. The air today was less smokey than yesterday, so our view of Mount Hood improved. It’s a HUGE mountain. We had lunch in a thick forest next to a creek. Tonight is our last night camping on the trail in Oregon–we are only 25 miles from Washington State.
