It rained last night, so this morning our tent was soaking. We packed it up and hiked about seven miles until the sun came out. Then, we took a nice break to dry out our stuff and wait for a friend we haven’t seen in over a thousand miles to catch up. Before we knew it, we were catching up with Hillbilly, who packed out a couple of beers for the reunion. Along with Hillbilly, Sage, Goldy-Locks, and Gilligan were there. It was like we were in the desert again. A few miles later, we hit some wonderful trail magic where we enjoyed vegan burgers, vegan chili, salad, chips, salsa, and of course more beer. Needless to say, we didn’t complete many miles today, but we had a great time.
