PCT Day 127: Mile 2354.2 to 2375.5

September 6th, 2018

I woke up early today and had some coffee while watching sunrise. Renee slept in for another hour. Then we had more coffee and ate breakfast with Sky-Blaze and Jazz Hands while taking our time getting started. Late starts have been great lately. While hiking, a couple of military jets flew by below us and we watched from a ridge At lunch we rendezvoused with Hillbilly and Buzzard. The scenery wasn’t spectacular today, but the forest was beautiful. We heard a lot of gun shots in the distance. I guess hunting season is approaching. We aren’t sure what is in season, but hopefully they’re not hunting for hikers. We are camped on a dirt road with a view of interstate 90 far in the distance. We’ll intersect 90 tomorrow for our resupply at Snoqualmie Pass.
