Today we hiked pretty efficiently to get to our resupply stop at Snoqualmie. We stopped at Mirror Lake for lunch and a “shower” and “laundry” because we were expecting visitors tonight and tomorrow. We did a day hike on this section of the trail back in 2016. We met XC Crow on that hike, a thruhiker from the same town as us and a very helpful resource. It was fun reminiscing. When we got to the trailhead, there was trail magic, so we stopped and had a beer or more. Tim’s brother Peter and his wife Alexis met us for dinner at a brewery. They also brought us Taco Bell and some dark chocolate. Yum. It was great to see them. We picked up our resupply boxes and stocked up on some extra food. It was raining a bit this evening. We got to the trailhead around 10 pm and pitched our tent in a break in the rain.
