PCT Day 14: Mile 205.7 to 228.4

May 16th, 2018

Today was a windy day in the desert. We hit the lowest spot on the PCT between the Mexican border and the Columbia River on the Oregon-Washington border. Then we started a long climb back into the mountains. We encountered a lot of trail magic. An anonymous trail angel left bananas, soda, and beer under I-10. Stormin Norman, an 82 year old, and his Taco Bell dog and wiener dog were parked in the desert and gave us water and CBD hand cream. Then we stopped at Mesa Wind Farm for some Gatorade and coffee.
