Today we descended back into the desert and it got hot. We were tempted to take a low-mileage day and camp at a KOA we passed with a pool, but we decided to continue on so we can do 0 miles tomorrow. We passed a beautiful rock formation as we entered the town of Agua Dulce, CA, where we had sent a resupply box to ‘Hiker Heaven’. When we arrived at Hiker Heaven, we saw our friends Shawn, Barbara, and Hillbilly, who we hadn’t seen for a while. It was a nice reunion.
