June 9th, 2018
Today we took a zero to get ready for the transition from the desert to the high Sierras. We are hanging out at the Kennedy Meadows General Store. We took showers and did laundry. We got our resupply package which included a bear canister and microspikes for the snow. We are headed out tomorrow and will not have cell service for a couple of weeks probably. Thank you a ton to everyone who sent us a note: Mom Miller, Grandma M, Grandma D, Erin, Mom Beissinger X2, Abby, Gebril, Karen & Chuck (K-Dog and Chuckles), Peter, Jenny, Penny, Lorraine, Danny & Eunhye, Travis. It has been really fun receiving snail mail at all of our resupply stops. 🙂
