Today was another awesome day on the trail. We started hiking at dawn and then rested in the shade for awhile mid-day to avoid the desert heat. We had amazing desert and mountain views with tons of wildflowers all day. We saw a scorpion in our campsite, and our trip rattlesnake count is at 3.
