June 23rd, 2018
Today our friends Kate and Jen and their dog Bernie made the long drive from Sacramento to meet us on the trail. They brought us fresh fruit, avocados, sourdough bread, wine, and moonshine. We hiked for awhile, then set up camp on a remote lake hidden above the trail. We played euchre until after 10pm, well past hiker midnight. What a fun day!
