Today we hiked over Donahue Pass and into Yosemite National Park, the 3rd national park of the PCT. Early morning we had some awesome views of jagged snow-capped mountains, but by the time we got to the pass at 8am smoke from the nearby fire almost completely obscured our view. A marmot at the pass was not at all shy of people and tried to chew on Tim’s hiking pole strap which was laying on the ground next to his feet. Seems like every day has less snow but more mosquitoes as we head north. We made it to Tuolomme Meadows to pick up our resupply package. We crossed the first paved road since Kennedy Meadows, which was 15 days and 240 miles ago.
