This morning we continued hanging out, drinking coffee, and getting breakfast with Kate and Jen until around 11:00. Right before we got on the road, Renee decided to cut off all of her hair. Jen is a great Barber, and Kate added an arrow pattern buzz in the back. It looks great. Kate and Jen decided that Renee’s trail name should be Arrowhead, but they don’t get to name her because they’re not hiking. Finally, we headed East toward Lake Tahoe to return to the trail. After stopping at the grocery store on the way, we got to walking at around 15:30 and did a short day. Eventually, we bushwhacked off trail and found a place to camp in the Desolation Wilderness that will hopefully have a decent view of the Lake Tahoe 4th of July fireworks shows. We’ll see…
