Another fun, but relatively uneventful, day on the trail. We saw a crew of ~15 people out doing trail maintenance. We saw lots of woodpeckers and butterflies. The terrain has started to change since we crossed I-80 a few days ago. The mountains are more rounded and tree covered. It has also been pretty hot the past few days. We saw a big mountain in the distance–maybe Lassen.
