New shoes for me today! We had to stop at Burney Mountain Guest Ranch to pick them up. It was another hot day, so we were happy to take a long afternoon break to shower, do laundry, and eat a lot in addition to picking up the shoes. I was supposed to get new shoes over 200 miles ago, but they didn’t get to our resupply stop on time. So then I was supposed to get shoes 60 miles ago, but they ran out of my size. Finally I had to order a different model, so hopefully they’ll work out. My old ones ended up having almost 1,000 miles on them. They had holes and no cushioning left.
New shoes!
