PCT Day 9: Mile 127.8-145.4

May 11th, 2018

Today we woke up and spent a while eating breakfast and filtering water for an 18-mile dry stretch. Our packs were heavy with H20 when we headed out, and it turned out to be unnecessary because there was a flowing spring at mile 10. Oh well. The day included a huge descent before starting a big climb into our campsite. As we climbed, it got extremely windy. It stayed cool today, which was a welcome change. We had unstuffed peppers for dinner. Yum.
