Today was a relatively easy day of hiking. We hiked out of Crater Lake NP through a nice forest and up to the highest point on the PCT in Oregon/Washington at 7,572 ft. Oregon has been surprising dry. We hit up two water caches in a 25 mile stretch without water today/yesterday. We had a nice lunch and siesta at a glacial creek — the only natural water source we passed today. We are dry camping tonight in a 10 mile stretch without water (we also finished off our whiskey yesterday, so it’s that kind of dry too).
